The Penn Club supports ethical buying as a principle. We seek to purchase food and other provisions from reputable and ethically responsible sources. However, our situation in Central London means there are only a limited number of suppliers able to meet our delivery needs at an economically viable price.

In light of this policy, we constantly monitor our suppliers and review our purchasing procedures, with the long-term goal to use sustainable and fair-trade products only. Where a product is known to cause offence to members and guests, we try to offer an alternative.

The Board of Directors and Management will keep this matter under review and welcome information and constructive suggestions from members and guests.
