The Location

Nowadays, there is the British Museum, with its newly opened Great Court, the small bookshops in Museum Street, the Foundling Museum and the student life engendered by University College.

Located in Bloomsbury in Central London, the Penn Club occupies 3 interlinking Georgian houses. Built in the early 1800s, the property retains several of its original features. Bloomsbury itself has historic literary and academic associations; it was the home of the Bloomsbury Group, the group of artists and writers that included Virginia Woolf and John Maynard Keynes.

The British Museum

Nearby Southampton Row offers a number of coffee shop, small sandwich and snack bars and several restaurants with a wide variety of cuisines, some offering a discount to Penn Club guests.
