Quaker Connections
The Penn Club was established in 1920 with funds left over from the Friends Ambulance Unit, active during World War I. The Penn Club continues to have connections with The Religious Society of Friends (Quakers) throughout the UK and world-wide.
Although not a formal Quaker institution, we maintain traditional Quaker values of integrity, equality, tolerance and simplicity, honesty and fairness in all our dealings.
A selection of current magazines and pamphlets detailing Quaker work and thought, together with a large number of Quaker books are available in the Edward Cadbury Room.
Discounts are available to delegates coming to Meeting for Sufferings.
Regular Meeting for Worship is held at Westminster Meeting House (times) and Friends House.
